Dany MUST Execute Jamie in Game of Thrones S8E2! GOT Preview Reaction

Jaime Lannister came to Winterfell in season 8 episode 1 to warn of Cersei’s treachery, but Daenerys Targaryen must execute the Kingslayer in Season 8 episode 2 for murdering her father the Mad King and crippling Brandon Stark in S1E1. Ser Jaime’s murder of the king that he was sworn to protect, King Aerys II Targaryen, led to King Robert Baratheon killing Dany’s mother Rhaella and sending her into hiding with brother Viserys in Essos. That betrayal by the King’s Guardman led to the usurper Robert Baratheon taking the Iron Throne and ruling the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.

Because Catelyn Stark freed Jaime at the defiance of Robb Stark and the House Karstark of Karhold, the Young Wolf lost his most powerful banner men in an attempt to enforce discipline. This led Robb to depend on the Boltons and the Freys and the Red Wedding at the twins which crushed the House Stark.

Can Dany the Mother of Dragons afford such mercy to the Kinslayer now? Will she enact the fire and blood justice that decimated House Tarley when Randyll Tarly and Dickon Tarly refused to bend the knee after the loot train battle?

Will the Knight King arrive at Winterfell before Jamie Lannister can get his justice? Can the Starks afford to let the Kingslayer get away again?
